Q.1: Acharya Ji, what is a Horoscope and why it is made?

Ans.: Astrology is a complete science in itself. Our Old Sages and hermits were such great scientists that the discoveries that are being done by scientists today were already done by them thousands of years ago. A look at our old Hindu mythological books will shed ample light about this fact. But today we seem to have forgotten about our glorious past, and instead of looking at our old literature, we are far more interested in listening to what the west has to say. However, the fact of the matter is that even the scientists in the west reached the same conclusion after studying our old mythological books, which our Sages and Hermits had pronounced thousands of years ago. Whenever a life is born on the planet Earth, the influence of all the 9 planets Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and 2 shadow planets Rahu and Ketu starts having their effect on that life. Since God has gifted every human being with a mind to think that’s why every individual comes out of his/her mother’s womb in a head first position.

During the time of birth, as soon as the person’s head emerges out in the open, the cosmic rays of all the 9 planets have a charging influence on the person’s brain. This particular time of birth therefore is the time based on which the horoscope of the newly born is made, which gives an exact description of the position of planets at the time of birth of that person.

Q.2: Is it possible to know about an individual's personality from his/her horoscope?
Ans.: Based on the planetary positions according to the horoscope of a person, some planets can bring miseries in life. For example if the lords of 5th, 9th and 10th houses and their 'Lagan' and 'Lagnesh' are in a good position, then the person progresses in life. Since wealth, fate and profession have a strong relationship, and if the lords of all these 3 houses are in a good position, and the 'Dasha' and 'Anterdasha' at the time of birth is also good, then the person is bound to progress in life.

Q.3: Is it possible to know whether the individual will be ruthless or kind from his/her horoscope?
Ans.: According to Astrology, the nature of every house is defined in a proper way. Sun, Mars, Saturn, Rahu & Ketu are ruthless by nature, while Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus are kind by nature. When the person's 'Lagan' is influenced by ruthless planets due to its position and face, the nature of the person is usually aggressive. However, if the kind natured planets have an influence on the 'Lagan' and 'Lagnesh' of the person, the person is usually kind in nature.

In many instances, it is also noticed that if a person speaks after weighing the pros and cons, he/she is understood to be carrying an attitude. However, this behavior of the person is primarily due to the influence of Jupiter on his/her 'Lagan'. And If Jupiter is related to fate and Karma, and the impact of other planets also supports it, then the person could become a Judge, a lawyer or even the Sarpanch of a village. So it is quite obvious that planets have a great impact on the life of every individual.

Q.4: Acharya Ji, is it possible to find a cure for diseases in Astrological Science?
Ans.: As I said earlier, cosmic rays of planets does have an effect on the child at the time of birth. Here I would like to stress that each planets' cosmic rays make an influence on the life of the newly born child, and each ray causes chemical reactions inside the body. For example, Sun is the planet that affects the bones; Moon is the planet that affects the mind, Mars is the planet that affects the blood, Mercury is the planet that affects the skin, Jupiter is the planet that affects the liver etc. Now if any person has a deficiency of any of these organs, we ask him/her to wear a gemstone related to that planet to increase the effect of cosmic rays of that planet inside the person's body. By doing this, the deficiency related to a particular organ is cured in that person over a period of time.

You must have also heard about 'Color Therapy' in which water filled in green, red, yellow and white colored bottles is kept in the Sun, and then this water in the colored bottles is used to cure diseases. In earlier times, the Ayurvedic doctors used to be astrologers as well and they used to treat 'Doshas' of Vaat, Pitt and Kafa by using these methods.

Q.5: Acharya Ji, which diseases can be cured by Astrological Science, and in how much time-frame?
Ans.: As I said earlier, treatment of 'Doshas' related to Vaat, Pitt and Kafa was done by remedies made of roots & herbs during earlier times. Even today, any ailment in a person is mainly due to these 3 factors. And this is because these roots & herbs get their medicinal qualities from the cosmic rays of planets falling upon them. If you look at nature, you will find that all white colored flowers like, Arabian Jasmine, Magnolia, Jasmine, Chrysanthemum, Night Queen etcetera bloom only at night after soaking in the rays of Moon. Similarly, these roots & herbs soak the cosmic rays of the planets to become effective in medicinal use. Even the 'Swarna Bhasma' and 'Chandi Bhasma' which are used in treatment all diseases are effective remedies due to the effect of planets.
Q.6: Acharya Ji, as we all know that there are 12 Astrological Signs, but can you tell us which one is the most powerful among all and why?
Ans.: There is no such thing as a powerful Astrological sign or a weak astrological sign in Astrology.

Q.7: Acharya Ji, tell us about the 12 Astrological Signs?
Ans.: As we all know, there are 12 astrological signs in Astrology which are also commonly known as Zodiac signs. According to Vedic Astrology, the sequence of these 12 signs begins with Aries (Mesh). Below is the list of all the astrological signs along with their ruling planet:

Astrological Signs Their Ruling Planet
Aries (Mesh) Mars (Mangal)
Taurus (Vrish) Venus (Shukra)
Gemini (Mithun) Mercury (Budh)
Cancer (Kark) Moon (Chandrama)
Leo (Singh) Sun (Surya)
Virgo (Kanya) Mercury (Budh)
Libra (Tula) Venus (Shukra)
Scorpio (Vrishchik) Mars (Mangal)
Sagittarius (Dhanu) Jupiter (Brehaspati)
Capricorn (Makar) Saturn (Shani)
Aquarius (Kumbh) Saturn (Shani)
Pisces (Meen) Jupiter (Brehaspati)

Q.8: But Acharya Ji, how there are 12 Astrological Signs when the ruling planets are only 9?
Ans.: Yes this is true that there are 12 astrological signs in Astrology which are only ruled by 7 planets because Rahu and Ketu are just shadow planets and they do not rule over any astrological sign. Planets Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn rule over 2 astrological signs each, while Sun and Moon both have lordship over 1 astrological sign.

Q.9: Acharya Ji, among all the astrological signs and the Nakshatras, which ones (Nakshatras) are inflicted with maximum 'Doshas'?
Ans.: Basically there are 6 main Nakshatras. They are Ashwini, Magha, Mool, Rewati, Ashlesha, Jyestha. There are 3 nakshatras each of planets Ketu and Mercury which are inflicted with 'Doshas'. A native born in these Nakshatras has to be treated with water brought from 27 wells to pacify the negative effects of these Nakshatras. When the native is born on the cusp of Gand-Moola, that person is said to bring ill-effects to his parents.

Q.10: Acharya Ji, if the planets in the horoscope of a native are weak and ineffective, what kind of problems could the native face in life?
Ans.: If the ruling planets of wellbeing are in 6th, 8th and 12th house, or the ruling planets of the horoscope are in a debilitated Astrological sign, then the Native is not rewarded for his/her efforts. The Strong & Debilitated signs are as under:-
Ruling Planet Strong Astrological Sign Debilitated Astrological Sign Degree
Sun Aries (Mesh) Libra (Tula) 10
Moon Taurus (Tula) Scorpio (Vrishchik) 3
Mars Capricorn (Makar) Cancer (Kark) 28
Mercury Virgo (Kanya) Pisces (Meen) 15
Jupiter Cancer (Kark) Capricorn (Makar) 5
Venus Pisces (Meen) Virgo (Kanya) 27
Saturn Libra (Tula) Aries (Mesh) 20

Q.11: Acharya Ji, What do you have to say about rags to riches stories of people in a very short time? Is it the miracle of planets in their horoscope or their hard work?

Ans.: No body can undermine the importance of wealth in the context of today's life. As far as the rags to riches stories are concerned, I would say that a horoscope could bless a native with wealth if the lord of wealth - lord of the 5th house - Lord of fate - Lord of livelihood strike a combination in the native's horoscope then the native can succeed in earning lot of wealth. Because all these aspects are inter-connected, that's why the 'Lagnesh' has to be present as well. If the native's lord of wealth resides in his/her native's house, and the 'Dasha' and 'Anterdasha' of the native also match, then the native can earn lot of wealth in life. If the interrelationship of 9th and 10th houses happens to be in the 9th house or 10th house, even then the native can earn a lot of wealth as well. However, it is important here that the 2nd wealth giving planet of the native, like the 5th house and the lord of wealth should also be in favorable position for this condition to be fulfilled.

A person's life does not remain the same all the time. In fact, the state of a native's life depends a lot on the 'Dashas' prevailing in his/her life. If these 'Dashas' become favorable, then definitely a person could turn his/her life from rags to riches in a very short time.

Q.12: Acharya Ji, when does a 'Mangal Dosh' occur and how?
Ans.: In a Vedic horoscope, 'Mangal Dosh' or 'Kuja Dosh' is present in a native's horoscope when mars is placed in either ascendant (1st House), House of happiness or mental peace (4th house), House of marriage (7th House), House of longevity (8th House) or house of expenditure (12th house). Since Mars is a planet which is representative of fire, electricity, chemicals, weapons, aggression, high energy, blood, fight, accident etc, let's see the effects of Mars in these houses.

Q.13: Acharya Ji, what effects a 'Mangal Dosh' can have on a native's life?
Ans.: As I have already discussed the condition in which a 'Mangal Dosh' occurs in a native's horoscope. I would now discuss the effects it might have on the native's life.

a) Mars in the 1st House: if Mars is in the 1st house, it affects 4th, 7th & 8th house apart from the 1st. Since 1st house represents the personality of the person, hence the effect of Mars may make the person extremely short-tempered. 4th house represents house and vehicles; hence there is a possibility of troubles linked with house & vehicle like, accident due to fire, chemicals, electricity etc. 7th house represents Marital Life, spouse & business in partnership, hence there could be chances of unstable married life, spouse being hot tempered, partnership losses etc. 8th house represents death and sudden monetary gains, hence there can be chances of accident to the person.

b) Mars in the 4th House: If Mars is in 4th house, it affects 7th, 10th & 11th house apart from 4th house. We have seen effects on 4th & 7th house. 10th house represents career, father and sleep hence there is a possibility of frequent changes/disturbances in career, sleep disorders, issues with father or even early death of father etc. 11th house indicates monetary gains hence there is a possibility of losses due to accidents, theft etc.

c) Mars in the 7th House: If Mars is in 7th house, it affects 10th, 1st & 2nd house apart from 7th. 2nd house gives idea about wealth of the person. It indicates the family of person & 8th house & 7th house indicate death, business and partnership. Hence Mars in this house can create issues among family members; less harmony among members, there are also chances of loss of money.

d) Mars in the 8th House: It affects 11th, 2nd & 3rd house. 3rd house represents brothers & sisters, verbal communication skills, voice and achievements of the person. Hence mars might create tensions among siblings; person may be very rude & arrogant in speaking, might hurt others quite often & may suffer more failures than successes. e) Mars in the 12th House: It affects 3rd, 6th & 7th house. 12th house indicates spending nature of person. Hence person may be over-spending in nature. 6th house indicates diseases, thefts, maternal uncle; hence person is likely to have diseases caused due to acidity, hyper tension, blood diseases etc.

Q.14: Acharya Ji, does this 'Mangal Dosh' has a time-span?
Ans.: Normally it is said that the ill effect of this 'Dosh' stays till the age of 27. Afterwards, there might be a partial effect of 'Mangal Dosh' on a native's life, but that too is completely wiped off once the native crosses the age limit of 30 years and more.

Q15: Acharya Ji, what are the chances of marriage of a boy or girl who have a "Mangal Dosh' in their horoscope?
Ans.: There are many theories that say that if one of the boy or girl is Manglik, then their marriage might result in the death of their Non-Manglik partner. However, this theory is absolutely false and there is not even a single element of truth in this notion. The concept of 'Kumbh Vivah' or 'Peepal Vivah' is also a big fallacy advocated by greedy people in this trade.
Q.16: Acharya Ji, what is the Saade Saati of Saturn?
Ans.: According to Vedic astrology, the period when Saturn transits 12th, 1st & 2nd houses from the Moon, it is called the Saade Saati of Saturn. It occurs every 30 years in life. Saade Saati consists of 3 cycles of 2 years called Dhaia when Saturn transits in 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from the Moon sign. The 3 cycles are explained below.

a) 1st cycle: In 1st cycle, when Saturn transits 12th house from moon for 2.5 years, the evil results are felt by parents and relatives of native. Health of grand mother may be affected and could result in her death. Eyesight of native can be affected. The position of Saturn may also affect financial position, as Saturn positions 2nd house, it may slow-down environmental activities. If birth chart shows Saturn passing through last phase of life, it may force the native to take Sanyas; get detached from family, wealth, home, etc. The father of native may face set-back or reversal, loss leading to an extra, unwanted and uncalled for expenditure which may be unbearable for the native.

b) 2nd cycle: In 2nd cycle, Saturn transits the moon sign for 2 years. During this period, it affects the native himself on the domestic and professional front. Also denotes ill health and death of some relations, fear from enemies, journey to distant places and separation from relations like brothers, sisters, wife or family etc. It may cause imprisonment, misery, loss of wealth, fatigue and general debility, loss of friends, Obstructions and delay in undertakings, failure in attempts and increased expenditure.

c) 3rd cycle: The 3rd cycle starts when Saturn transits in the 2nd house from Moon. It affects health, children and might cause death if has arrived late in life. During this transit, loss of health, happiness, loss of position, increased expenditure, financial stress and physical weakness might be felt. Gain of wealth from others, which will be lost, deception through wicked men. May cause death of children too if other combinations are present.

Q.17: Acharya Ji, How can we see the effects of Saade-Saati of Saturn?
Ans.: In Vedic astrology, Saturn is also termed as an unbiased planet that acts as the perfect Judge. Saturn has this tendency to also give the same back if it has taken something from the native. Its evil eye might even force the native to face the most trying circumstances in life. When pleased, Saturn can also shower the native with all the worldly pleasures. No other planet can match the power of Saturn. During the period of Saade-Saati, the native might be forced to roam here and there for earning livelihood. The first 2 year period of Saade Saati is definitely the most difficult for the native, while the 2nd 2 year period is average in terms of difficulties. The third 2 year period is again filled with problems.

Q.18: Acharya Ji, what is the effect of Saade-Saati of Saturn on the astrological signs?
Ans.: The Saturn gives good or bad result according to friend or enemy relation to lord of sign in which it transits during period of Saade-Saati. When Saturn passes through its friend or self sign, it gives benefic result during the period of Saade-Saati. When it passes through Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn and Aquarius it gives benefic result during Saade-Saati. When it passes through Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio and Pisces it gives malefic result. It should be noticed that Saturn gives good result during transition in basic triangle sign of Jupiter Sagittarius, but during transition in Pisces it gives malefic result.
Astrological Signs The house position Effect of Saade-Saati
Aries (Mesh) 10th & 11th Normal
Taurus (Vrish) 8th & 10th Good
Gemini (Mithun) 8th & 9th Normal
Cancer (Kark) 7th & 8th Bad
Leo (Singh) 6th & 7th Bad
Virgo (Kanya) 5th & 6th Normal
Libra (Tula) 4th & 5th  Good
Scorpio (Vrishchik) 3rd & 4th Normal
Sagittarius (Dhanu) 2nd & 3rd Bad
Capricorn (Makar) 1st & 2nd Good
Aquarius (Kumbh) 1st & 12th Good
Pisces (Meen) 11th & 12th Bad
Q.19: Acharya Ji, how important is the impact of Gemstones in our everyday life?
Ans.: When we wear a gemstone the cosmic rays of the planet it represents are drawn more into our Auras. This has an effect on the Chakras which are governed by those Colors. This phenomenon has an effect on our vibrations and our mental activity which in turn affects the way we interact with the people and the people interact with us. All this changes our environment and thus our destinies. When we see a birth chart we analyze the strengths and the weaknesses of the various planets and if some planet is benefic but is weak we prescribe its Gemstone.

Q.20: Acharya Ji, please tell us who are the lords of benefic planets after the birth of a native, and what gemstones should be adorned to enhance their good effect?
Ans.: As I have said earlier, the astrological sign which is rising in our galaxy closest to the earth at the time of a native's birth is called the 'Lagan' of the native. Based on the 'Lagan' of the native, it will be advisable to seek the consultation of a qualified Astrologer and definitely adorn a gemstone that is related to the 'Lagan' of the native. It is a fact that the lord of the native's 'Lagan' will never mean any harm to him/her any way. Let's look at the gemstones that should be adorned for natives of various Astrological Signs (Rashis).
Aries (Mesh) Mars (Mangal) Coral (Moonga)
Taurus (Vrish) Venus (Shukra) Diamond (Heera)
Gemini (Mithun) Mercury (Budh) Emerald (Panna)
Cancer (Kark) Moon (Chandrama) Pearl (Moti)
Leo (Singh) Sun (Surya) Ruby (Maanikya)
Virgo (Kanya) Mercury (Budh) Emerald (Panna)
Libra (Tula) Venus (Shukra) Diamond (Heera)
Scorpio (Vrishchik) Mars (Mangal) Coral (Moonga)
Sagittarius (Dhanu) Jupiter (Brehaspati) Topaz (Pukhraaj)
Capricorn (Makar) Saturn (Shani) Sapphire (Neelam)
Aquarius (Kumbh) Saturn (Shani) Sapphire (Neelam)
Pisces (Meen) Jupiter (Brehaspati) Topaz (Pukhraaj)

Q.21: Acharya Ji, you have told us about the gemstones that should be adorned by natives of various Astrological signs, but please also tell us if a planet of the 'Lagan' is weak, then which gemstone should be adorned by the native to minimize the negative impact of the weak planet?
Ans.: Anybody should never adorn gemstones of lord of 6th, 8th & 12th houses ever. The reason behind this is:

a) 6th House is of Debts, Fights, Ailments and Enemies.

b) 8th House is of Diseases and roadblocks

c) 12th House is of Hospital, prison and Foreign Travel etc.

I have come across certain incidents in my life where I have seen the losses a person had to bear after wearing a wrong gemstone by mistake. 'Vrish Lagan' is basically demonic in nature, that's why one should never adorn the gemstone of Jupiter in this combination. One should not wear these stones in respective lagans.
LAGAN GEMSTONE Lords of Houses
Aries (Mesh) Emerald (Panna) 3rd & 6th
Taurus (Vrish) Topaz (Pukhraaj) 8th & 11th
Gemini (Mithun) Coral (Moonga) 6th & 11th
Cancer (Kark) Emerald (Panna) 3rd & 12th
Leo (Singh) Sapphire (Neelam) 6th & 7th
Virgo (Kanya) Coral (Moonga) 3rd & 11th
Libra (Tula) Topaz (Pukhraaj) 3rd & 6th
Scorpio (Vrishchik) Emerald (Panna) 8th & 11th
Sagittarius (Dhanu) Diamond (Heera) 6th & 11th
Capricorn (Makar) Topaz (Pukhraaj) 3rd & 12th
Aquarius (Kumbh) Emerald (Panna)
Pisces (Meen) Diamond (Heera) 3rd & 8th
Q.22: Acharya Ji, Please tell us about gemstones of wellbeing?
Ans.: If the planet of wellbeing is in 6th, 8th and 12th houses positioned with the lords of malefic effects, or the planet itself is evil, then that planet is said to be weak in a native's life. Due to this, the native is not able to obtain good results related to this planet in life. For example if a native's 'Lagan' is Gemini (Mithun), and being the lord of the 4th house it is sitting in the 8th house of Capricorn (Makar), then both his aspects 'Lagan' and 4th house will be ill affected and the native will be devoid of health, land & property, vehicle, fame in public and age of parents in life. Such a native must adorn an Emerald (Panna) after proper purification by a good Astrologer.
Aries (Mesh) Coral, Pearl, Topaz
Taurus (Vrish) Sapphire, Diamond, Emerald
Gemini (Mithun) Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald
Cancer (Kark) Pearl, Coral, Topaz
Leo (Singh) Ruby, Coral
Virgo (Kanya) Emerald, Diamond
Libra (Tula) Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald
Scorpio (Vrishchik) Coral, Pearl, Topaz
Sagittarius (Dhanu) Topaz, Ruby
Capricorn (Makar) Sapphire, Diamond
Aquarius (Kumbh) Sapphire, Diamond
Pisces (Meen) Topaz & Coral
Apart from the suggestions I have made in the table above, the natives of various 'Lagans' must adorn a gemstone that empowers the 'lagan' of their birth-planet.

Q.23: Acharya Ji, Please suggest us about the ways to recognize various gemstones?
Ans.: There is an old saying that says, 'Only a connoisseur can differentiate between a stone and a diamond'. As I have explained to you in the above sections that the colors of various gemstones soak the cosmic rays of the planets and pass them in the body of the person who is adorning them. So it is extremely important that a native only wears a gemstone that is real, only then he/she will be able to benefit from the healing powers of that gemstone.

The problem with gemstones is that a lot of their cheaper substitutes are being sold in the market by people. For example a stone by the name 'Suneila' which is a sub-stone of Topaz is being sold in the name of Topaz. There are chemically colored stones as well which are sold in the name of various precious gemstones, so it is highly advisable to be sure about the source before buying one. There is no doubt about the benefits once the native has succeeded in getting hold of the real gemstone.
Q.24: Acharya Ji, what is Kaal-Sarpa Dosh, and what ill-effects it can have on life?
Ans.: Rahu and Ketu the lunar nodes are known as shadow planets. They are not independent planets like Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn. All the time they are positioned at the opposite points of the zodiac like head and tail. Since the nature of both Rahu and Ketu is evil, their influence too is generally evil all the time. If all the 7 planets stated above come on one side of the Horoscope, this position of the horoscope is known as Kaal-Sarpa Dosh. 'Kaal' means time, 'Sarpa' means snake and 'Dosh' means affliction. So Kaal-Sarpa means an affliction mainly of the characteristics of a Snake. The person in whose native chart this Dosh occurs is often told such scary things that he/she starts believing that now their life is going to be doomed.

But the Dosh or affliction is not explained by the sages Parasara, Bhrigu or Jaimini. However many modern astrologers talk about this Dosh and say that there is no need to worry about this Dosh as some of the renowned personalities like Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi, famous bangle writer Sh. Rabindra Nath Tagore and eminent singer Lata Mangeshkar Ji had this Dosh in their horoscope.

Q.25: Acharya Ji, does this Kaal-Sarpa Dosh stay in native's horoscope throughout life?

Ans.: At the time a native is born, he or she is told about the presence of 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' in his/her horoscope. But what effects this Dosh will have can only be predicted by studying the 'Dasha', 'Anterdasha' and 'Pratyantardasha' of the malefic planets when it gives maximum results. A person affected by 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' derives maximum results in the 'Dasha' of planets Rahu and Ketu, and in the 'Dasha' of lords of planets having malefic effects.

'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' is formed because of very bad karmas is past life and is more dangerous than other malefic Doshas. 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' affects a person till 47 years and some time throughout his life, it basically depends upon the position of 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh'. Effects of 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' remain for a longer period of time when Rahu is placed in 5th, 8th & 12th houses, and the effects stay for a shorter duration of time when Rahu is placed in 3rd, 6th, & 11th house.

Q.26: Acharya Ji, is there any treatment for Kaal-Sarpa Dosh?
Ans.: If a native is suffering from this Dosh due to the position of planets at his/her time of birth, then what effects this Dosh will have can only be predicted by thoroughly studying the horoscope of the malefic planets when they give maximum results. A person affected by 'Kaal-Sarpa Dosh' derives maximum results in the 'Dasha' of planets Rahu and Ketu, and in the 'Dasha' of lords of planets having malefic effects.

Q.27: Acharya Ji, is it possible to recognize a person affected by Kaal-Sarpa Dosh by his/her appearance?
Ans.: It is only when the native suffering from this Dosh talks to others and shares his/her secrets with them that they will know of the Dosh in his/her life. Otherwise, it is not possible to judge if any person is suffering by this Dosh just by their physical appearance. Generally, when a person is surrounded by problems, the worried expressions on his/her face can tell the onlookers that something is wrong. Similarly, a person affected by this Dosh might also carry a puzzled and worried expression on his/her face.

Especially when a person is made to suffer from bad luck, lack of education, delay in marriage, lack of funds, healthy deficiencies and constant road-blocks in work causing frequent failures, then it will be wise to seek the help of a good astrologer for remedial measures to reduce the bad effects of this Dosh.
Q.28: Acharya Ji, does the Manglik Dosh cause delay in the marriage of a native?
Ans.: Manglik Dosh as such does not cause delay in the life of the native, but it is the myths associated with Manglik Dosh that actually result in the native's marriage getting delayed unnecessarily. One of the prime causes behind this delay is the myth that a Manglik person should only be married to a Manglik person, and if this is not the case, then the Manglik partner of a non-Manglik partner can have serious implications on his/her partner's life.

Another cause of delay in the marriage of Manglik people is the deep rooted myth that the effect of Manglik Dosh lasts till the age of 30, and all its effects are nullified afterwards. So people who have Manglik Dosh in their horoscope often end up delaying their marriage beyond 30 years.

Q.29: Acharya Ji, what is the combination of planets that causes a native to do a Love Marriage?

Ans.: Venus plays a very important role in deciding whether the marriage would be a love marriage or an arranged one. Sometimes, it indicates physical attraction which usually does not end up in marriage. Venus is the ruler of pleasures, joys and desires and it should be pure and uninflected for a pure love and a stable emotional life. Venus the Karaka of love when it aspects ascendant 5th house, 7th house or 11th houses, it depicts the loving nature of an individual. But, conversion of love into a marriage is a different thing. Venus signifies purity and senses. So, when it is uninflected and well-placed, senses would be under-control and the love would be pure. When such Venus is the lord of 5th house and is placed in the 7th house, your love can definitely have a happy ending with a love marriage. The probability of a love marriage is also present in the condition when Venus is placed in the ascendant in the Chandra Kundli or is present in the 5th house from the Moon.

Q.30: What are the causes behind delay in Marriage, and which planets are responsible for this delay?

Ans.: If Venus is debilitated in ascendant, it is likely to cause tension, dissatisfaction in marital happiness, diseases and temporary separation. If such Venus is exalted in a Navamsha Kundli; then there are great chances that such malefic influences will not take place. If 7th lord is weak when Venus is debilitated; there are great chances that the native will not enjoy a happy marital life. Many problems like separation, divorce, delay or denial in marriage, severe health problems and problems related to progeny may arise.

Moon is the emotional Karaka of mind and is exalted in Taurus which is the sign of Venus. Hence, emotions are stable when Moon is well-placed. When the moon is afflicted, all kind of negative behavior will be seen in the native. Therefore, Moon should not be afflicted for a pure love and for conversion of that love into marriage.

Mars is the Karaka of courage and ability to express your love while Venus is the planet that initiates the attraction towards the opposite sex. It has been observed that both these planets in conjunction indicate a failure to having a love marriage. In this case, the people are often betrayed by their partners.
